This is definitely one of those weddings that needs a permanent spot here on our blog! After over a year of living in the midst of a pandemic, I think we were all slowly but surely figuring out how to to – as safely as possible – gather in small groups and celebrate again. This intimate gathering took place on a beautiful April morning and there were multiple times throughout the day where I thought to myself how lucky I feel to have been invited in to document this love. That’s the thing about small celebrations. They cut through the (lovingly dubbed) chaos and force you to focus on what matters most… family. The ones you are born with and the ones you choose ❤️
Liz + Reza have a beautiful energy about them. They are warm, authentic, inviting, laugh easily, and are in general just a complete joy to be around. I am forever grateful to them and their families (and Liz’s friend, Laura, who connected us and designed this GORGEOUS celebration) and cannot wait to document their larger party next year!!
All in all, this wedding was a dream – and seeing this beautiful day featured on Carats & Cake is absolute icing on an already delicious cake 😉
