Some people leave an imprint on your heart and these two are just those kinds of people. We fell into an easy friendship immediately during their engagement session and their wedding was an absolute breath of fresh air during an otherwise busy/hectic season for us!! Melissa + Eli kept things intimate and true to their priorities (family + friends who are family, an elegant/stylish yet cozy environment, delicious cocktails, and damn good hamburgers!) Their ceremony was full of tears and laughter and beautiful words, they shared an ice cream sundae in place of a cake cutting, and had an unannounced first dance (pictured in the opening photo of this post!). Basically, their whole day was designed and celebrated with intention and it just made my heart so, so happy. (Also, those burgers were seriously really good, which made my belly happy).
Documenting this day was a joy to say the least and I am so thankful to have kept in touch with M +E! They have since welcomed what might possibly be the cutest tiny human ever and I can’t to watch their beautiful life unfold <3 YES to both smashing glass at the end of their ceremony!!
